visual studio .net general : "The Parameter is Incorrect" Designing Tables

I get the error "The Parameter is Incorrect" whenever I try to design
tables in VS 2005. Seems to be somehow related to opening SQL 2000
databases as I don't get the error with SQL Express unless it's a
database I've restored from SQL 2000.

Has anyone seen this problem or found a fix?

Un-freakin-believable!

Been working back and forth with another person on this and he has done
a lot of work on it. I finally found the answer when I was trying
something though. Hopefully, this will benefit someone else.

I was screwing around with the Data menu and selected the Show Data
Sources option and got an error message about a font that was not a
true type font. I switched over to my test user and noticed that that
user is setup to use the standard Windows XP blue scheme. I use the
Olive scheme. The scheme I use defines MS Sans Serif as the font for a
number of items including menus and a few other things. This is not a
True Type font. So I switched all items in my Display settings to use
Tahoma instead and MS Sans Serif and everything just started to work. I
cannot believe that Microsoft pulled something this dumb.
