Recently, Visual Studio 2005 has started creating folders in my project
folders.

It adds a folder called "Visual Studio 2005" and then adds one or more
of:
"Backup Files", "Settings" and "Visualizers" to that folder.
Sometimes, these contain files. Has anyone else seen anything similar?

At the time, I had My Documents pointing to a network drive. I wasn't
using storing my projects in My Documents - I was storing them in
C:\Work so that I didn't have to muck about with .NET trusting the
network drive.
