How do I comment out a block of code? Dave

visual studio .net general: I am usinng the old Visual Studio 6 (specifically Visual InterDev).

I have a block of code that needs to be temporarily commented out.

If I select the block of code there should be an option that allows me to
comment all the selected lines. However, I certainly do not see where this
option is.

Does anyone remember how to do it?

Hi Dave,

Thank you for your post!

As far as I know, there's no built-in command to let you comment a block of
code in Visual Studio 6. But you can do it in macro. You can find it here:

#Comment/Uncomment Macro and more

Hope this helps. If there's anything unclear, please feel free to post here.
