visual studio .net general: I just installed font for VS 2005 and it looks terrible.
Is there something I suppose to enable?

On a CRT ClearType often looks like it was printed with a leaky pen but
Consolas does seemt to be okay.

I use dual monitors and have it installed and set at 11 in Visual Studio and
I seem to have gotten used to it. I've been looking for anything that can
help relieve eye strain because I've gotten the dry-eye syndrome after
spending so much time in front of the displays. Give it some time as your
brain has been trained to recognize fonts that were not optimized for the
type of work we do. If you dump it Lucinda had always been my preferred font
when coding.

I believe Consolas is one of the new fonts designed specifically for
ClearType. Do you have an LCD screen? Do you have ClearType enabled?
Did you run the ClearType tuner?

I have LCD (flat panel). I tried to go to Screen settings and enable
ClearType but it changed everything but the way VS displays the font.
I have no idea what is ClearType tuner is.
