Hi all,
I used to have VS2003 and SouceSafe 6.0 installed on my machine (Win XP
with SP2), it worked fine.

Today, I upgraded my VS to VS 2005 first (uninstalled VS2003 first but
kept SourceSafe 6.0) and then installed SourceSafe 2005. But under "File"
menu of my VS2005, I am not able to find "Source Control" sub menu item any
more! Where are they now? I searched all my menus, it is gone!!!

Anybody has idea what happened?

Hi Hardy,

The Source Control menu doesn't appear, because you haven't selected the
correct source control provider in VS2005. Here are the steps:

1. Select Tools/Options from the main menu.
2. In the left tree, select Source Control/Plug-in Selection.
3. In the right pane, select Current source control plug-in from the
combo-box.

BTW, VSS doesn't support side by side installation. If you're using the
VSS2005 version, I suggest you uninstall VSS 6.0.
