visual studio .net general: When I build my web project in VS 2005, .Net 2.0, I get an error that says
"There were deployment errors. Continue?"

When I continue, the application appears to run as expected - I can't say
for certain because of other seemingly unrelated errors.

I have deleted the temporary asp.Net files in the frame work folders and
they were rebuilt as expected.

I have the ASP.Net projects addon installed, VSTS for Database Professionals
RTM installed, and the Visual Studio Extensibility SDK installed since the
last time I built this project and didn't have that error.

All of the references I could find t this error message on google were
related to CE or PPC, or Windows Mobile. This project is none of those. The
solution includes a web form project, a web service project, two class
libraries, and a database project using VSTS for Database Professionals.

Any ideas what might be causing it?

Thanks,

Dale

Hello Dale,

Is the web project file folder based or IIS based? Since the problem can be
reslved by clearing the temp folder, will it come back while next build or
just randomly? Is there another web project also suffer from same issue?

Sincerely,

Luke Zhang
