visual studio .net general : Encrypted My Documents folder = can't deploy asp.net app from VS

My company recently started encrpyting the My Documents folder on our
corporate laptops. That's great.... except... our Visual Studio solutions are
under My Documents, and now that this folder is encrypted we've lost the
ability to deploy web projects to our servers. If we copy the projects
outside of My Documents, then we can deploy successfully as before. Has
anyone else experienced this issue? Found a better workaround?

Error message we receive:

"Error Copying File or Folder"
Cannot copy Projectxxxx.xxx: Access is denied. The source file may be in use.

Thanks!

Hi,

This doesn't sound good. What do the people who encrypted it have to say
about it? I thought the files were supposed to decrypt themselves behind
the scenes when a request is made; I've seen people lose work forever
after switching on encryption. How are the company backing up these folders?
