visual studio .net general:
I have recently reformatted my laptop and have reinstalled all of the
necessary development software, most of which is VS2005. I have
finally gotten everything to run and debug with the annoying exception
of the loss of the Open and Create Website links on the left column of
the Start Page.

The other thing I notice is that now when I go to File > New >
Website, it now creates a solution file that I am forced to deal with
as where previously the solution file was not visible.

My question is, is there some type of website snapin that enables/
disables some of the things that I'm experiencing now?

thanks,
..brit

Here is what it looks like now:

http://www.isoaxis.com/temp/box.jpg

It used to contain "website" links beside open and create.

I found too that VS 2005 works a bit differently but what I found very
useful was downloading the following:

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 - Update to Support Web Application
Projects

Thanks for the reply, what you suggested made perfect sense and I had
very high hopes that it would make the difference, but the links still
do not show up.

Do you have any other ideas?
