We have some macros that generate our installation packages. Today, the
macros won't run and I get no error messages. When trying to debug I get an
error trying to load one of the mscor DLL's.

I did a search and noticed the KB article 928208 which describes this kind
of a problem. I found a hotfix in the Connection site but it didn't fix the
problem. Also this has been discussed as a problem with Windows Vista.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? We have to do our builds by hand
at the moment and it is quite annoying.

Version is Visual Studio 2005 without SP1 (since SP1 will compile C++ with a
newer runtime library and we can't have that, so updating SP1 is not

You mention Vista. Are you attempting to use VS 2005 on Vista without SP1?

Sorry, forgot to mention the OS. It's running on Windows Server 2003
