visual studio .net general: Using Crystal in VS 2005, I use the database wizard and try to create a
database connection via "OLE DB". When the applet window opens, the
"Provider:" window is empty. This was never the case before. I certainly
didn't purposely do anything to clear the list. I'm wondering where it went.
This has disabled me from using Crystal.
Sorry if this is posted to the wrong forum as there seems to be no Crystal
forum and this is direclty related to OLE DB. If you have an answer, thanks,
or if you have a suggestion for a better (free) forum, please let me know.

Hi Larry,

If you new a WinForm application in VS2005 and use menu "Data/Add new
datasource" and create a new data connection there, can you see the
provider list correctly?

If it's correct, then the issue will be related to Crystal Report. For

No report, new or old, shows any provider in OLE DB Provider list.
I have posted on the Crystal (BusinessObjects) web forum.
