if you do not want a Win Form being closed by user clicking "x" at
upper-right corner, or by pressing "Alt+F4", or any button you placed on the
form, you can handle Form's "Closing" event, where you can set
CancelEventAgrs.Cancel=true in the condition when you do not want the form
to be closed.

Hi Anis,

I agree with Norman.

The Alt+F4 is the shortcut to the Close system command of a form. If you
click the form icon of a form, you should see a system menu appears and the
last command is Close and the shortcut is Alt+F4. If the form to be closed
is the main form of an application, the application will exit as well.

No matter whether we press the Alt+F4 or the close button on the top-right
corner, the MDI parent's FormClosing event is raised. We can set the Cancel
property of the FormClosingEventArgs parameter to true to prevent the form
from being closed.

In your scenario, you may judge whether the sale MDI child form is opened
in the MDI parent's FormClosing event handler. If yes, set the Cancel
property of the FormClosingEventArgs parameter to true; otherwise, to false.

Hope this helps.
If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.

Sincerely,
