include oracle client in setup file Bart

visual studio .net general: Hi,

I tried to include oracle setup file (*.msi) in the custom actions in a
setup file.
I'm getting an error '1608: unable to install installshield scripting runtime'
It seems that I cannot run a new msi instance when the basic setup is
already running.
How can I solve this?
I cannot find a msm package for the oracle client so I have to find another
solution.

Thanks

Hi Bart,

If you'd like to include an MSI package within your MSI package, you could
do this by nesting that MSI package into your MSI package. For more
information on how to do this, please refer to the following KB article:

'How to create a nested .msi package'

Hope this helps.
If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.
