I would like to completely turn off VSS/IDE integration
for .NET 2003 and Visual Studio 6.0. I use to konw of
registry setting that did this nicely but I can't seem to
locate it these days. I'm running on Windows 2000
Professional and soon to update to XP - Professinal.

TIA,

Hi Arnold,

Please try to delete the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SourceCodeControlProvider\ProviderRegKey key
from the registry, after restarting the VS IDE the integration should not
be enabled. You can re-enable it by registering SSSCC.DLL using
regsvr32.exe.

Before you modify the registry, make sure to back it up and make sure that
you understand how to restore the registry if a problem occurs. For
information about how to back up, restore, and edit the registry, click the
