visual studio .net ide : Compile current file

What is the keyboard shortcut to compile the .cpp file that is currently
open in the editor?

Currently, I look at the title bar, determine the file name, locate the file
in the "solution explorer"(TM), right-click it and select compile if it
doesn't happen to be grey-ed out at the moment.

Thanks

I use Ctrl-F7, but to tell you the truth, I can't remember if it came set
up for that, or if I customized it to that setting.

You can find out what the current setting is, or define a new keystroke, by
going to Tools/Options/Environment/Keyboard. Type "compile" in the "Show
commands containing:" edit field, and see what is there.

That's beautiful, thank you. CTRL-F7 worked for me.

I'm using "visual studio .net c++ 7.1 2003" but I requested "VS6 keyboard
compatability" when I installed.
