visual studio .net ide: Hi,

I am using EnvDTE to modify and control a solution and its projects in
VS.NET 2003, however I have not found how to change programatically the
Active Configuration for the solution.

Am I missing something?

To manipulate the solution's configuration programatically, you can use the
objects and collections in the Visual Studio .NET Automation Build model
that allow you to modify solution and project build configurations and
dependencies, for example:

Dim solutionBuild As EnvDTE.SolutionBuild
Dim solutionCfgs As EnvDTE.SolutionConfigurations
Dim solutionCfg As EnvDTE.SolutionConfiguration

'Find the debug solution configuration and make active:
solutionBuild = DTE.Solution.SolutionBuild
solutionCfgs = solutionBuild.SolutionConfigurations
solutionCfg = solutionCfgs.Item("Debug")
solutionCfg.Activate()
