I have not had this problem until recently. I am running VS2003 and
everytime I attemp to add a class to a project I receive "Unspecified Error".
If I create a new project I receive the error "The specified module could
not be found." This of course is due to the fact that when I created the new
project VS tried to add a default class. VS failed to add the class so the
IDE could not find the startup method.

I have completely uninstalled VS and reinstalled it with no success.

VSS works.
I can copy a class with the solution explorer and rename it.

Has anyone seen anything like this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Rob,

Could you use Google to see previous posts about this?. The problem sounds
familiar to me.

Also, you can use FileMon from www.sysinternals.com to spy disk activity and
discover the missing file / module.
