visual studio .net service packs:
I have a second hand laptop with XP+SP2+all updates installed. Everything
works fine, except when visiting e.g. a Japanese or Chinese website (I sort
of study Chinese for fun and play Japanese PnC games :-)). My previous PC
with W2K had support for Chinese characters installed, but this one tells me
to install a language pack. When I do that, at some point the procedure tells
me it needs some additional files (installation stops at "copying
i386/cplexe.exe", if I remember correctly), and asks me for the SP2 CD-ROM,
which I don't have.
I have been looking everywhere for a place to download the required files,
but cannot find that. I would think I should be able to download the
servicepack itself, including the files required for the language pack?

Package for IT Professionals and Developers", which gives me a file called
"WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe". I saved that to disk, but it is an exe
file, and it looks to me that if I run that, it will just reinstall SP2 and
therefore either will not help, or might even give extra problems (as SP2 and
further updates are already installed)? I could I suppose order a CD, but
that takes 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Is there any way I can use the WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe file to get
