Hi Mike,
Check to see if the IIS mapping for ASPX is enabled. To do so, go to IIS
Manager, go to the Properties of the Default Web Site. On the Home
Directory tab, click Configurations. On the APP mappings tab, make sure
ASPX is listed. Also, select ASPX and click Edit button. Make sure "check
the file exists" option is NOT selected.
For each of your existing ASP .NET application under "Default Website",
please also do the same thing.
Best regards,
Bradley Jiang

|Thomas,
|
|Did you find a solution to this?
|
|I am having the same problem but on a windows 2000 box. All was working
fine until yesterday and now I'm getting the same error and it's driving me
crazy.
|I can still actually run the web apps thru a browser and on any error
pages it tells me that it *is* running under 1.1.4322 - but if I try to
load any 1.1 apps into VS.Net 2003 it tells the same error. I tried the
same things you did to no avail so would love to know if you found out how
to solve it!
|
|TIA...
|
|Mike.
