I installed VS .NET on 2000 pro laptop with plenty of
memory and speed. The install of the update components,
framework and studio seemed to go fine.

I've given up on VS.Net, and want to uninstall it from my
machine, maybe try again in five years. But it won't let
me uninstall. After confirming that I do indeed want to
uninstall, not repair or reinstall, bla bla, it starts the

I have a setup project in VS.NET 03, but I can not find an option for
creating a REG_MULTI_SZ in the Registry view. Every other type seems to be
there, just not that one.
Is there some workaround that will allow me to create REG_MULTI_SZ strings

Hello,
When installing VS .NET, the setup routine asks me to remove the .NET
framework on my machine (v. 1.0.3328). When uninstalling this, the
uninstaller asks for a network resource in
C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP000.TMP\.

I have a 40gb, 1gb ram, P4 Compaq machine. I have windows
2000 with service pack 4 installed on it. When I use
visual studio .net it hangs most of the time while
opening/running even a windows project.

I'm running VS.NET 2003 trial edition and it keeps
crashing when I try to execute even a simple program. I'm
told this is because my processor is an inadequate 98-lb.
