Can't install VS .NET Hans Le Roy

visual studio .net setup: Hello,

When installing VS .NET, the setup routine asks me to remove the .NET
framework on my machine (v. 1.0.3328). When uninstalling this, the
uninstaller asks for a network resource in
C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP000.TMP\.

Does anyone knows what is happening, or what the uninstaller is
looking for? Until now, I can't uninstall the previous version of the
FRamework, so I can't install VS .NET.

Thanks

Hans

Try navigating to the %windir%\installer folder and right clicking on the
cached msi file in the installer folder for the framework and selecting
uninstall.

Start > Run and type installer and then click Ok
Select View > Details
Right click on the column header Date Modified
Select Comments
Locate the Microsoft .Net Framework file
Right click
Select uninstall
