visual studio .net setup:
I have wXP Pro:
When I introduced VS.NET cd1 it tells me to put the
windows update component cd, well, I put it and in the
Xindows update Component window, it tells me that it
haven't been abe to install the following components:
-.NET Framework
-MS-Frontpage 2000 web extensions client
It tells me to try installing manually. I try but it tells
me that has problems with windows installer, and tells
that it could be because windows installer is not
correctly installed or because windows is running
in "antierrors mode" ("Modo a prueba de fallos" in
spanish).

But Windows Installer is part of WindowsXP pro. I don't
know what to do.

Hi

Many times this can be because the Windows Installer engine is not properly
registered in the windows registry. You can register the Windows Installer
through the following command-lines.

Start > Run and type msiexec /unregister and then click Ok
Start > Run and type msiexec /regserver and then click Ok

HTH.
