i have a hard time to installed the vs.net enterprise
architect version 2000, i am using XP Pro, everytime i
put on the cd-1 to do setup it always promt me the
message that said" please insert the window component
update for Visual Studio.net disk" whats that mean, can

You mean Visual Studio .NET 2002, correct?
Yes. It's asking you for one of the CD's that comes with Visual Studio. The
title, printed on the label, is "Windows Component Update". You need to
insert that CD in your drive when asked. If you don't have the CD, you need
to go back to your vendor and explain that you were sold an incomplete
product.
