visual studio .net setup : use vsnet 2002 apps in vsnet 2003 ?

I am taking a class for Visual Basic .Net and the college uses version 2002
of .Net, but when I bought .Net, I didn't realize that I got the 2003
version. At times I may be taking projects back and forth and doing extra
classwork at home.

But, today when I tried to open a project from class in VB.Net 2003, I got a
message stating that it must be converted to this new version.

Is there any way that I can take the projects back and forth ?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Conversion from 2002 to 2003 is semi-automatic. When you load a 2002 project
in 2003, you'll be asked if you wish to convert in a dialog box. One click
does the job.
Conversion the other way (2003 to 2002) is possible, but takes a bit more
work:
There is a utility at Code Project that will convert a VS.NET 2003 solution
back to VS.NET 2002.

http://www.codeproject.com/macro/vsconvert.asp

Hope this helps.

Awesome. That is exactly what I was looking for.

It will do the job just perfectly. Since the school uses 2002 and I have
2003 I was hoping there would be a way to transfer files.

That web page looks fantastic also. I am going to sign up today.

Thanks
