visual studio .net setup:
Setting an application is not enough as it simply creates an IIS application
process and not an FP web.
You need to first create a virtual directory to the directory that you want
to be an FP web. Once you create the virtual directory, you can make it an
FP web by using the New | Server Extensions Web option from the root node of
the virtual server. The trick is you have to give the new Fp web the same
exact name that you gave to your virtual directory. This will make the
virtual directory an FP web. After I create an FP web in this manner I
always run a check server extensions because this will ensure that the
permissions are set correctly on the virtual directory.
