I am having a problem installing Visual Studio .Net 2002 Academic and was
wondering if you have ever seen this.
I can start the installation just fine, but after a few minutes the CDROM
stops spinning and the light blinks then it displays an

Hello everyone,
Download and installed vs.net (evaluation)
I know that vs.net is installed because I'm able to test
and run other products that use vb.net and c# to generate
code. I can also test web matrix without any problem.
My problem is that I cannot load the vs.net IDE.

put on the cd-1 to do setup it always promt me the

Hi,
I installed vs .net pro 2003 60 day trail on my machine.
When I tryu to run the program it gives me "invalid key".
Does any one know how to change the key without unistall/intsall way. I just
want to avoid wasting time in this process.

I am using VS.NET 2003 Academic version.
I create a fresh new win32 console application ( VC) and then go the
project properties, nothing shows on that dialog
except a tree structure on the left.

.NET Installation issue

I'm running XP Pro
When I try to install - the machine reboots - does not pass go - no
messages in event view - nothing.
I installed the pre-requisites manually and tried to run setup with
the /NO_BSLN_CHECK and my machine still reboots.

I have wXP Pro:
When I introduced VS.NET cd1 it tells me to put the
windows update component cd, well, I put it and in the
Xindows update Component window, it tells me that it
haven't been abe to install the following components:
-.NET Framework
-MS-Frontpage 2000 web extensions client

I have visual studio 2002 enterprise architect, currently
it's using framework v1.0 by default. I was wondering is
there any way of pointing my ide to a framework v1.1
folder and use framework v1.1 by default instead of 1.0?

Hi:
I have a rather annoying issue with the VS IDE. Any time I happen to place
my mouse on a part of the VS IDE (accidentally or otherwise), the IDE gains
focus and brought to the forefront of my display. Is there a way to disable
this feature?

Prof i get the following error message before the actual
installation (copy)-procedure:
