Hey, there!
I've recently got VS.NET 2002 & started installation
Nuttin' special happend. havin' installed components' update i clicked
<Install VS.NET>, it asked me product key, the next screen specified the
components of .NET tobe installed and when I clicked Next>> i saw smth.
like:
-Verifying installation order...
then
-Please wait...
then
-Verifying installation order...
then
-Please wait...
then
Setup failed
and 3 linked under:
1. View error.log
2. View install.log
3. View readme

Error.log contains helpless info
install.log didn't help beacuse the error is not shown and I can't trace the
things went wrong...

If anybody knows that to do, please reply...

Can you forward me the verbose log found in the temp folder?

Start > Run and type %temp% and then click Ok
Locate the vsmsilog*.txt where the * represents a wildcard for four random
characters.
Compress and send to me.
