I'm trying to install a visual studio .net trial version from a DVD

So I mapped to the server's DVD drive and install from there to my local workstation

Everything works fine when I come to the 3 rd step install the MSDN library. It fails like followin

there is a pop up titled windows installer

incorrect command line parameter
message is : portions of this software are based in part on the work of Independent Jpeg group

Any suggestions would be appreciated

This is Mark from Microsoft Visual Studio Setup. To start, I'd like to ask
a question about certain conditions.

Is it possible to try the installation on the local machine? If yes, see
Note 1, below. If the answer is no, you can try to copy the DVD to an
accessible location.

Note 1: MSI (Windows Installer) does not support mapped drives. To get
around this issue, please use the real UNC path address to the installation
source media.

For example: \\servername\sharename\setup.exe

I hope that this solution helps you to resolve this issue.
