visual studio .net setup : VS .Net 2003 -- install and then install again -- seeking advice

Due to a misunderstanding, I am returning the Visual Studio .Net 2003
software to the vendor and am subscribing to MSDN instead.

This means I will soon need to uninstall the software I have, as I will not
have a [license/valid product key] to it; and whenever Microsoft sends me
the new stuff, I will need to install Visual Studio .Net 2003 all over
again. As I have seen a few posts from time to time about install and
reinstall issues -- (but not exactly the same situation) -- I'm wondering if
some here might have any advice, cautions, or just 'gotcha' stuff I should
look out for.

Thanks.

You can follow the normal removal process by using Add/Remove Programs and
in the vast majority of cases, you will have no problem. If you do happen
to run into trouble, please refer to the following document, which
describes manual methods of removal.
