I install under the Administrator account but have a normal user account for running VS.NET in (plus the VS Devs and Debuggers groups). VS will run fine but when accessing the MSDN Library, navigating to a docume... more >>

VS .Net 2003 Arc - WHY "help is not installed for vs ..." ?
Posted by the_ol_bonehead at 2/27/2004 1:55:41 PM
MSDN is installed, and help is accessible, but not via F1, etc.
I've installed, uninstalled, installed again, and repaired.
Nothing has helped.
I don't understand why I can't find a solution to or an explanation for what
is apparently a common problem. I've seen a few posts here from other... more >>

Posted by Delphine Han at 2/26/2004 9:34:07 AM
Is there any problem having VS.NET and VS 6.0 co-exist on
the same PC? I work with both VS.NET and VS 6.0
application development and want to install both VS tools
on the same machine. Would system get confused with DLL,
OCX used by different projects?... more >>

Posted by Tim Mavers at 2/25/2004 1:04:07 PM
I am currently using Visual Studio.NET 2003 and recently was assigned a

(sp2).
Since VS.NET 2003 includes a much newer version (I am currently using
v1.1.4322).
I am wondering if there is a way I can selectively set ... more >>
VS .Net 2003 -- install and then install again -- seeking advice

Due to a misunderstanding, I am returning the Visual Studio .Net 2003
software to the vendor and am subscribing to MSDN instead.
This means I will soon need to uninstall the software I have, as I will not
have a [license/valid product key] to it; and whenever Microsoft sends me
the new stuff, ... more >>

Visual Studio .NET 2003 and 6.0 on the same computer
Posted by James at 2/22/2004 12:01:05 AM
I have read around that you can have both visual studio 6.0 and .net 2003 installed on the same computer. I currently have 6.0 installed and planning to install .net 2003 along with it.
