Pop-up - "Web Access Failed
Unable to create Web project 'DotNetTest/Test1'. The UNC share '\\IISServerName\wwwroot$\DotNetTest\Test1' does not exist or you do not have access

I have tried creating a share on the server of c:\inetpub\wwwroot and giving full access to everyone (NTFS), and full access to the DotNetTest directory underneath. I have created the share with a name of wwwroot$, and wwwroot. I can do a Start|Run| \\IISServerName\wwwroot$ or wwwroot depending on my share name and can obtain access to the share... I don't know what else to do.

Any ideas

Have you tried to re-register the IIS on the machine using regiis etc
