visual studio .net setup:
i have 2 machines. One is the IIS server and ther other is the
workstation windows 2000 Pro. I installed VS.net on my w2kpro. and i
have installed some asp.net solutions(.sln) on my IIS server in the
\inetpub\wwwroot\aspdotnet\.

I tried opening the SLN program using the
http://joriz.org/aspdotnet/webapplications1. but apparently it didnt
work.

also i tried making the wwwroot as a shared folder. and i tried
opening the sln program by directly goin to that folder using both IIS
IP or My network places. The error is "Unable to open project. The
Web located on the server "http://localhost/..." does not exist.

What seems to be the problem. Do i need to work on my server thru the
http://localhost? or is it possible to just work on my workstation.

You might be better off asking this question on the IIS or ASP.NET message
boards.
