visual studio .net setup : Can I install VS 6.0 & 7.1 in parallel?

I'm using Windows 2000 Pro. We would like to install and use both Visual Studio 6.0 and 7.1, but not simultaneously. Is this possible? If so, are there any known problems?

Thanks

Hi!

It works fine to have VS6 and VS7.1 side by side if you install them in
"chronological" order, ie first VS6 and then VS7.1.

Jonas has given you good advice on the install order, but we've been
successful in installing Visual Studio 6, .NET 2002 and .NET 2003 all on the
same set of PC's with the VS 6 pieces needed installed last. YMMV.
(Personally, given a choice, I'd do it Jonas' way).
