I have vs.net enterprise architect and windows xp home edition.

I keep getting the error internal error 25003 when trying to install the software

after browsing the newsgroups and the msdn, i have discovered that the source of this problem is that hte media is corrupt.

However the problem with this is thta the dvd that i had w/ this software was stolen from me and so i have to use a back up copy that i have made which was actually 6 discs.

So i cant just recopy the software to a temp file.

So my question to you guys is , how to find out which file is corrupted so that i may find someone who can replace this file for me.

If you want email me at papastoreyii@sbcglobal.net and i will send the logs to you

Thanks for your help,

Hello,

In checking, I believe the only DVD Versions of the product that came out
were the MSDN Subscription and the Trial Edition.

If this was a MSDN Subscription, you should be able to contact the MSDN
Subscription department and get a replacement DVD. If it is a trial
edition, I am sure that you should be able to aquire another copy of the
Trial Edition through the Microsoft website.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio.

VsNet installations place a verbose log in the Temporary Folder, and you
should be able to review the log file, and locate the file causing the
problem.

Start > Run and type %temp% and then click Ok
Locate the vsmsilog*.txt where the * represents four random characters
Search for Return Value 3 in the verbose log, and you should see the error

HTH.
