When I do a complete installation of VS 2003 via the MSDN cd's, I
encounter a point where a large number of files are reported missing
from the cd, the problem exists mainly when the application is
installing SDK related pieces.

Let me get a bit of clarification on this issue:

1. Did you download and burn to a CD one of the ISO files from the MSDN
subscriber downloads are are you installing from one of the colored MSDN
CDs? If so, what is the disc number?
2. Have you tried the install from another CDROM drive?
3. Have you searched the CDROM for one of the files that it says were
missing?

Hello Will,

The disk numbers start with 2073, it is the May 2003 release of the
MSDN library.

I tried to install from a network copy and recieved this error. The
data is the same on the CD as the network copy. Are there some files
which are not copied that are on the CD? The odd thing about this is
that I look at the folder tree on the CD and the files called for are
not listed there as well.

Were there any errors during the installation? Also, when you did the full
install, did it have you input all three CDs?
