I try to find out why i can't install the "MS Frontpage 2000 Web Extensions Client" and the "Setup Runtime Files".
I've got a win xp (sp1) system and did all the security patches, installed the web-extension-client manually by adding a windows component under "software".
The lock-file says:

I have the problem described in Knowledge Base Article
836454, wich causes the VS Update function not to work.
According to the article this is an error, and there is a
new version available. However I can't find the file, but
the article suggests that I should contact MS to get the

Hi,
I recently downloaded VS.NET Pro 2k3 from my university server and its
contained within 3 zip files. I have to extract install.zip to
install, msdn.zip to install MSDN, and another tools.zip for other
tools. I wanted to recreate the VS disks from which these were

I currently have a setup.msi with ALLUSERS=1 property.
The application is installed under c:\\Program
Files\ProductName. The admin has full rights to the
ProductName folder butother users have the read right
only. How can I set read/write rights to all users for
