Error 1335 indicates a possible issue with the distribution medium or with
your optical drive. Carefully check the CD in question for scratches *on the
top*. If any are observed that go through the top coating, the CD will
probably need to be replaced.
Do you have the option of trying the installation with a substitute optical
drive? If so, try it.
There have been issues with some optical drives needing firmware upgrades to
install VS 2003. Check with your drive manufacturer for firmware updates.
If your distribution media is bad, or the other possible steps don't solve
the problem, contact Microsoft Support via telephone and open an
installation incident. Installation incidents are free and don't count
against your free support incidents (number varies with edition), AFAIK.
BTW, it's probably not a good idea to post your install key in a public
forum.
