visual studio .net setup: I have been trying to install VS2005 on my machine but get an error
installing SQL Express. I have never had any beta, or CTP installed on this
machine.

I have tried reinstalling, removing, (including reg keys) and I am at a loss.

I, and several co-workers have successfully installed several machines, all
without fail. I have also tried installing SQL 2005 Dev Ed with the same
results.

The dd_vserror80.ttx error log follows..

I suggest you download the following Visual Studio 2005 Automatic Uninstall
Tool and run it before you perform another attempt of the Visual Studio
2005's installation, sometime your machine may have some pre-VS2005 RTM
products installed, but you are not aware of.

the Windows version of your machines, we may need more detailed information
of your machine to help you in this issue...
