I am trying to install VS 2005 and i get the following error. snapshot of the error log file. Note, that the drive in which i am installation has sufficient amount of disk space (about 10GB) .. After clicking on the link to install prerequisities I get a dialog stating that "Setup has detected that another program requires the computer to reboot. Can't install VS 2005 RTM because after selecting to install VS.NET 2k5 it says "Suite Integration Toolkit Executable has encountered a problem....." I already used the uninstall tool from Microsoft, deleted files, folder and registry entries from VS.Net Beta 2 and did a clean boot to install...more >>

I got lots of file cannot find error. But when I use the same CD to install in XP , everything works perfectly.The way I install is by running setup.exe in the root. I doublt very much if vs2003 can be installed on Win2003. Any idea ?...more >>

We currently have Office 2000 installed on all our clients. Can I install VS 2005 on the same client with Office 2000 still installed. We are not using Office tools addins. If I can do this what limitations exist in Office and Visual Studio? Thanks ...more >>
