Does anyone know if you can install both VS.NET 2003 and 2005 side by side on
the same machine?

Before doing so, I'd advise research here (in the Microsoft public groups)
and in the groups dedicated to Visual Studio 2005 (Beta) here:

There have been reports of problems affecting the functionality of 2003 with
2005 (Beta) installed. Also, you are aware of the general risks associated
with installing beta software on a production machine and are prepared to
accept same, correct?

To mitigate the risks, consider setting up dual boot on a separate partition
or using Virtual PC 2004.
