visual studio .net setup : Install of VS2005 and Express Manager

I recently attended an MSDN even where I received a copy of the Winter DVD
resource disk. It has a copy of VS2005 Beta 1 refresh with Team System. I
have successfully installed this (and the accompanying copy of SQL Express
2005) and would like to install Express Manager. This wasn't included on
the DVD so I downloaded a copy from my Universal MSDN account. It installs,
but won't run. It complains about the version of my .net framework which is
2.0.something (I don't have my laptop with me right now so I can't give the
exact version).

So my question is this, What do I need to get all of this working? I would
like to find a copy of Express Manager that works with the Winter DVD that
is distributed at the MSDN events so I don't have to download the 3+ gig iso
file.

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris,
It appears that a conflict is within the .NET Framework version 2 (which I
think is Beta1) and the Express Manager - see the prerequsites from the
Express 2 Beta Readme: - in particular, the item(s) versioning and item noted
as IMPORTANT!

2.1 Prerequisites and Software requirements
Users must install.NET Framework 2.0 and SQL Management Objects (SMO) before
installing Express Manager.

..NET Framework 2.0
Express Manager February CTP depends on a specific version of the .NET
Framework (2.0.50110). If you have an incompatible version, you might
experience irregular behavior. You can download .NET Framework 2.0 from this
Microsoft Web site. Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005
Developer Edition also install .NET Framework 2.0.

SQL Management Objects
SMO is installed by SQL Server 2005 Developer and Express Editions. You must
install one of these editions of SQL Server 2005 before installing Express
Manager. SQL Server Express February 2005 CTP is available for download at
this Microsoft Web site.

Important Express Manager is not compatible with SQL Server 2005 Beta 2
Express Edition.
