Hangup generating setup script on VS.net 2003

I have a new machine with XP Pro SP2. I've been trying to install VS.net
2003. I thought my disks might be corrupt so I downloaded the files from the
web site. I get the same error (stops and hangs) at the same point in the

I installed Win XP Pro including SP2 and then I added IIS. I was installing
VS.Net 2003. It was in the VS.Net Prerequisites phase. It had installed MS
Front Page and looked like it had completed Setup Runtime Files (the bar was

I need to setup a machine with .NET 2005 beta with the MSDN Library. I have
..NET Beta1 on 2 CDs coming by post and the DVD release of Beta2 downloading.
Do both of these releases include the MSDN Library (or at least web links to
the content). I have to get this right first time.

I have been trying to install VS 2003 Enterprise Architecture to my D drive
but when I install I cannot change the target location. The option for
changing the location is disabled.
I am running XP Prof SP1 and I do not have the disk space available on my C
drive.
