visual studio .net setup:

I get a failed SQL Server 2005 Express Edition faiulre during installation of
VS 2005 beta 2.

Erro message:
"Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition April CTP: [2] Error code 1603
for this component means "Fatal error during installation."

I got the same error message (Error code 1603). I had uninstalled Visual
Studio 2003, then installed SQL 2005, then installed Vis Studio 2005.

I had the same problem on a clean machine. No previous VS .NET installed, a
clean install of Windows XP Prof. SP2.

When I uninstalled both VS 2005 and SQL 2005 and then installed VS 2005
before installing SQL 2005 everything installed correctly.
