All

I have been using Windows XP Pro and VS.Net 2003 for almost a year now
with no issues. I have been creating BizTalk solutions, MFC and
Windows console solutions and so forth.

Today I went to create a new project and received "Automation server
can't create object" popup window after going through the wizard for
creating the new project. Immediately I jumped to the newsgroups to
find a solution and noticed a number of threads that mentioned
upgrading the scripting host engine to 5.6. Just did that, rebooted,
didn't work.

Any other ideas? Unfortunately I am on the road, don't have have my
disks with me (they're like 5000+ miles back in the states meanwhile
I'm in Europe) and cannot afford a system rebuild right now given
current project deadlines.

Can someone please offer any other solutions to get me back working
again???

Kind Regards,
Chris

This seems to only be the case of when trying to "Create" a project and
nothing more. The start page loads okay and I am able to create
classes. Can someone from Microsoft please advise a way to help me get
this working?

Kind Regards,
Chris
