visual studio .net setup : Downloading Trial Software

I am a veteran Access Programmer trying to test out Visual Studio. I
downloaded a trial version of SQL Server 2005, and along with it, Visual
Studio 2005 was installed. However, when I open the new project dialogue,
there's no "Windows Application" option to choose for the project type. Do I
need to install a different version of Visual Studio to get this option so I
can create forms? There is a version called "Visual Studio 2005 Team
Foundation Server 180-Day Trial" available for download. Is this the version
I need? There is also a version called "Visual Studio 2005 Professional
Edition 90-Day DVD Trial" available for download. It appears that this
version is only available on DVD and not downloadable. Is there a way to

Download the Express editions. There is C# Express, C++, and Visual Basic.
These are free.
