visual studio .net setup:
I've downloaded .NET framework 2.0 redistributable package in Windows XP.
But it requires installation of Windows Installer 3.0 .When i tried to
download it,
I failed as it is available for customers running genuine microsoft
windows.So what should i install sothat i can develop n run .NEt app
programs.Please help me .Waiting for an answer.

I'd suggest that you follow whatever steps were described to resolve your
Windows authenticity problem first. That should take care of the
installation problems.
