Hi Lucky,
[quoted text, click to view] >When adding a new project to my solution the following
>error is shown, and no project is created. "The process
>cannot access the file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Temp\
>.....\Properties\Resources.Designer.cs' because it is being
>used by another process"
In order to isolate this problem, would you please provide some more
detailed info about it?
1. What project you attempt to add to a solution will cause this problem,
is there any other existing project in that solution, what project type of
it?
2. What's your Windows system in your new machine, which the version of
your VS2005 product?
3. Does this problem happen all the time in your new Dual Code machine? Do
you have any other Dual Code machines, does the problem occur in those
machines?
I suggest you can also check which process has locked that
Resources.Designer.cs file while the problem occurs, you can use the
Process Explorer(
www.sysInternals.com) to check this.(Find | Handles | type
the target file name in the handle input box).
I appreciate your time in performing them. Let me know the results at your
earliest convenience. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me
know. I am standing by to help you.
Thanks!
Best regards,
Gary Chang

up response may take approximately 2 business days as the support
professional working with you may need further investigation to reach the
most efficient resolution. The offering is not appropriate for situations
that require urgent, real-time or phone-based interactions or complex
