visual studio .net setup:

I want to use a Visual Studio 2005 license key to setup VS 2003. I thought
that this was supported.

No it's not.
You can contact your local Microsoft reps to inquire about a software
version downgrade (i.e. use VS .NET 2003 instead of VS 2005) and get a key
for the old version, but your existing VS 2005 key will not work with VS
..NET 2003.
