Hi,
When I try to create a new Workflow Project (any project type), I got the
error "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an
indication that other memory is corrupt.".
I deinstalled/installed the Workflow Extension, but still the same.

Any idea?

Thanks

Hi Eric,

From your description, whenver you try creating a WWF project in VS 2005
IDE, you'll encounter the "Attemped to read or write protected memory.."
error ,correct?

As for the VS 2005 and WWF extension, have you ever install any other
version of the VS 2005 or WWF extension before and encounter this problem
behavior? Also, if you use those built-in project types of VS 2005(without
the extension), would you get the same problem? Based on my experience,
such problem would be quite hard to troubleshoot since it may specific to
the component installation or some thing incorrectly with the machine
enviornment. Normally, we would first try isolating the issue behavior and
scope.

Sincerely,

Yes, this correct.

It's a clean machine, I have never installed a beta version of WCF / VS.NET.

The problem happens only for the WF extensions.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply Eric,

So far according to Windows Workflow Foundation extension and Visual studio
2005 IDE, I haven't found any existing issue. "Protect Memory" access error
is also possiblye caused by the disk problem. I think you may consider a a
complete reinstall of the VS IDE together with the WWF extension if still
haven't any progress.
