I installed 05 and then 03.
When ever I click on a sln or .cs file, 03 comes up.

Anyway to change the behavior for all vs files to use the 05 behavior.

Try going to Windoes Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types and
changing the default program for SLN to VS2005.
FWIW, the reason you get 2003 is because it was installed last.
You could also do a repair install of VS 2005 to fix it.

Hi Chuck,

Yes, as pvdg42 mentioned, you can use the windows explorer's
"Tools--->Folder Options--->File types" setting to change the associated
program of a certain known file type.

Didn't work.
Did a repair and the file associations stayed with vs03
vb, cs etc.

I manually changed sln to version selector

and asks me to insert the DVD. Can't go any further.

Hi Chuck,

Is the CD ROM corrupted? Can you perform new install through it?
