Hi, Im running IIS 3.0 and get a 0126 error : module not
found when I try to start up the web service or ftp

IIS 3 is not supported anymore, so you may not get any responses. To get in a supported configuration, I would do the following:

Uninstall IIS from the services tab in the properties of your networks
Make sure you are on IE 4 and sp6a; if not, you will not be able to upgrade as there is a specific install order for IIS 4, which is on the NT Option Pack CD. If
you have active server pages add-on installed for IIS 3, you will need to remove it before installing IIS 4 from the NT Option Pack.
Then, reapply sp6a and run windowsupdate.microsoft.com
